Doctor Vicki-Marie Petrick presented her dissertation in History and Civilizations at the EHESS entitled The Body of Mary Magdalene and its Representations in Italy from the Thirteenth Century to Titian. A native English speaker, she spent the first twenty-five years of her life in the United States where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Medieval-Renaissance Studies. Since 1993 she has lived in France where she continued her studies and pursued teaching in art history.

Her specialties include historical texts as well as those in the humanities and the social sciences.
